Scope and contact
This policy covers Huinian 1.0 for iPhone, provided by Chronos. Updated October 28, 2026. Contact chronoschan1119@gmail.com for privacy or support. Huinian does not require a developer account; purchases and iCloud use your Apple Account.
Local content and processing
Text, photos, recordings, handwriting, attachments, history and drafts are stored on your device by default. OCR and recording transcription use on-device system capabilities without replacing originals. Availability depends on your device and language; the system may download local models. Huinian does not send your original content to the developer or cloud AI.
Optional iCloud sync
Sync is off by default. Only after you enable it does CloudKit transfer notes, history, drafts, original attachments and space appearance through your private database to devices using the same Apple Account. The developer has no business server for reading these private user records. Apple Account, service and storage limits apply. Turning sync off does not automatically remove existing local or cloud copies. Sync is not an independent backup, and Huinian does not promise additional end-to-end encryption.
Permissions and device security
You choose photos and files, record audio, or enable App Lock. Microphone access is used to record audio. The system checks biometrics or your device passcode; Huinian does not read biometric templates. Text notes remain available if you decline these permissions. App Lock adds no extra encryption to the local library. Protect your device, Apple Account and exported files.
Subscriptions and Apple
Huinian Pro is a monthly auto-renewable subscription handled by Apple. StoreKit verifies purchases, trial eligibility and subscription status on your device. Huinian receives no card details or payment credentials and uses no developer purchase-verification server. Eligible subscribers get the first 3 months free, followed by the monthly price shown for their App Store region. You can cancel in Apple subscription settings.
No tracking; contacting us
The app has no advertising, telemetry, behavioral analytics or third-party tracking SDKs. It does not sell personal information or track you across apps. Its open-source Markdown parser processes content locally. If you email us, we receive your address, message and any material you choose to attach, solely to reply, investigate and handle your request. Redact private content first; do not send passwords or payment credentials.
Retention, export and deletion
Export a complete backup for recovery, or Markdown for reading and exchange. Exports have no additional encryption. Independent exports, copies and system backups are outside Huinian’s control. Deletion first asks for confirmation and moves items to Archive. Confirming deletion within Archive permanently removes the corresponding content and handles associated history, drafts and exclusive attachments. With sync enabled, deletion propagates to your other devices; offline devices or sync failures may delay it. Turning off sync or uninstalling the app alone is not a way to erase all cloud copies. Support emails are retained only as needed to handle requests and necessary retention obligations. Email us to request access, correction or deletion of support information you provided.
Updates and related terms
We update this page and its date when our practices change, with notice where required. Apple’s terms and privacy policy separately govern purchases, iCloud and system services. There is no Huinian developer account to close. You can still manage local content, Archive, independent backups and iCloud sync.
